Shiekha Moza of Qatar---and my take

I have always loved the way Sheikha Moza of Qatar wears her shayla---loose and earrings out---but the way she wears it, of course, is only as a shayla, not a hijab (though she usually gets chest coverage just not neck or hair). Habbit: I just walk. I dunno. I prefer my abayas to cover my feet so I don't have to wear socks. I take a certain kind of step that I don't know how to describe. I have to do the same thing with pants that are too long so I've been doping it my whole life. I can wear things that are a full four inches too long for me without tripping:D It takes some time for the taller sisters out there, like my girl Boxie whose slowly mastering the art.

I like her style, at least she still covers the main areas. She doesnt look like a "young" woman so I usually dont pick on the older women that have the right to relax the hijab a bit.

I agree with Taya. The overall look is gorgeous, I love your choice of accessories!

Now I just need to work on the hijab style to stay on my head, and look effortless (like yours).

Nawal: the Qu'ran says they remove the jilbab when they get older so you're right but says it is best not to. But I did want to note, she is wearing the khimar incorrectly. I think she looks so chic though, always. Like a real lady.

Her face is so defined mashaAllah she'd look better with it on like you - we need to look up her email ad and send her a link to your tutorial :-)

Anyway on another note I was checking that abaya out on sunnah style some time back, but I got totally confused by sleeve measurements...hence didn't order it...is the join irritating? It looks lush...really wanna order mind now...

How do I know what sleeve size to order?

Shaika Mozza is adored here in Qatar, both for her style but mostly her works. She has helped her husband and family build this country into a thriving place for education, sports, and development and research. She is an amazing woman and while we love her style, we really appreciate what she has done for Qatar and she has passed on her strong work ethic and values to the next generation. The people at the top here work as hard as anyone in this country and are building a nation that we are proud of.

I am American, not Qatari-but I love this place and it is my home now. Inshaa Allah.
