Modesty Makeover: Blake Lively

You may not be interested whatsoever in celebrity fashion, but you have to admit, they influence what goes into our local malls sometimes, so taking a cue from Blake Lively, I know there are going to be alot of orange maxi dresses in a mall near you. Wear it with swing coat, a box jacket, a orange shrug w. chest covering hijab, an open abaya (that's me)....

Orange tunic top http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=FOREVER21&category%5Fname=sw%5Fcardigans&product%5Fid=2056134231&Page=all for $29.00 USD.

Orange hijab http://www.alhijabworld.com/online_store/rectangular_shimmer_hijab_orange_gold_stripes.cfm

for $6.99 GBP

I feel so fresh looking at this color. That's a nice tunic for a make-over.

But I thought we weren't supposed to be dressed in bright colours since it'll grab attention? It's nice to see like the many people who commented to say. I don't think that's the point of being modest. ): I love your blog by the way. It's just that I'm getting more and more confused with so many people selling colours out there when the recommended colours to be worn are more to pastel and muted colours.

LOVE YOU THO'!
