Salaam! You know...im just saying...why bother so much, especially as in the 3rd video from the bottom, id be scared to stag my brain with those needles!Honestly, for me the shaylas are the most stylish ones, the turkish reminds me of the old russian women in a lithuanian market... ay...there's just something too harsh about the turkish version, i'd call it a german version of hijab, very tight and sooo structured :S
Milda: I feel the same but I think it is all about face shape. Belive it or not though I have a way of wrapping Turkish hijab you'd swear it was a khaleeji shayla:D
I prefer shaylas though.
I like the Turkish style, they have the most vibrant scarfs. Though when warring one I find i need to be careful of not putting to many layers over my ears or i will here the russell of the fabric all day. I like the last one it had some neat design ideas. Adding sparkle that matches the colour you are warring is nice.
Ohhh no way really!Cuz i have this gorgeous turkish style scarf, id love to see ur version of turkish hijab! You think u could do a video on that :DD
cool vids! I actually like Turkish style. Especially, when draped properly.btw I went on a comment spree lol ... hope you got the feedback you needed inshAllah :)
AOA,I Like it. very Modest and stylish.
I am Turkish and I HATE the fact that women think that they are modest when they wear hijab like in the third video. 1) The way they wear the scarf is dowdy and ugly 2) It does not serve the purpose of providing modesty. Women usually wear this kind of hijab in weddings and other special days in addition to wearing tons of make up. Let me say that almost always these are mixed events with men. As a hijabi, I hate to be grouped in the same category with these women. My hijab is modest. No shiny colors, nothing that is going to attract men's gaze. Most of these women who wear hijab this way are daughters of families that migrated to cities recently. These women are the first generation city dewellers. Their parents are born in villages. Their parents are conservative and they sometimes push their daughters to wear hijab and this is how daughters respond. They deform the concept of hijab cutting its ties to modesty. I would hate to see this kind of hijab wearing spread in the Muslim world. These women are embrassing and dishonoring all hijabis.
