Indonesian Hijab Fashion Online Boutique

I have always been a fan of Indonesian hijab fashion, since it was the first thing that came up on Google when I searched "Islamic Fashion" in the days when I was first donning hijab and had only one style. It had all the colours that would make a sister's transition to hijab easier since it was pretty much like wearing hijabified clothes from the mall.Recently I just discovered this site http://www.ladymuslima.com/women-c-1 which sells some amazingly young and hip abaya-like jumpers and dresses (for the smaller figure---Asian sizing are often quite small just as a warning). Those four above are my faves.
Also, if you are an al-amira girl, these hijabs http://www.ladymuslima.com/accessories-hijab-c-4_24 are completely the most stylish al-amiras I have ever seen, AND they cover the chest, unlike most al-amiras (slip on hijabs) on the market. Their prices are really good too. Check out if they deliver to you.

Eloquence: LOL, I did say, check out if they ship to you. The prices themselves for the garments are fine:D Shipping is a whole other matter depending on where you live. Liek Forver21 is cheap for me but a fortune for Dubai girls:D

I was just wondering how are the prices when converted from their money. But I see there is already a discussion about shipping costs. Would somebody be so kind as to explain the conversion from their mulah to US dollars.

THanks.

PS now they style their models in the accordance with Islamic laws :-)

I really love the way Indonesian hijabs frame the sister's faces. I never thought to try, figured they wouldn't look good on me. The one with the lime green, wow, it makes her eyes look SO pretty. I love the innocence of these.

Salaam alaikum,
Masha'Allah, I love these styles- the black one with the silver shirt (?) looks fantastic! These are such great styles while still being modest!

On another note- I was wondering sister if you could do a post on covering the hands (including hadiths) to show whether or not it is recommended and whether or not the Prophet's wives (may Allah be pleased with them) covered their hands? I've heard different opinions and I would be interested in what you could "dig up" on the matter.

Cheers.

Dearest Pixie,

Thank you soooo very much for featuring my online shop :) Alhamdulillah I'm glad that you find some things that you like there. I'd like to address some of the sisters' comments:

- Price conversion: Actually there's a built in price converter right on the homepage of LadyMuslima.com. It converts our currency (rupiah) into USD, GBP, AUD, and EUR.

-Shipping cost: It's a continuous work in progress for us to negotiate a better shipping cost. We managed to get lower rates just a few weeks ago, I hope this suits most sisters' budget. Please check our website. Also, instead of the standard Aramex shipping, you can drop me an email and ask me for EMS (express mail service). They offer trackable shipping with lower rates to some countries. Only caveat is it might take a slightly longer delivery time.

Sisters, if you have *any* questions with regards to sizing or whether a certain style suits your body/face type, or whatever, please please feel free to drop me a line at info@ladymuslima.com. I will personally answer your questions :)

Jazakallahu khair & please visit my shop again ;)

P.S. Some items above are on sale now.. you might not want to miss it.

Indeed. Btw we Indonesian call abaya "gamis"

Gamis is very popular here. Check out gamis from Rabbani, it's a muslim clothing line. The style is just cute and beautiful.
Some muslimas also have their gamis made by mixing fabric of patternless or plain color such as red, green, or blue with Batik, Indonesian traditional patterned fabrics. Have a check :)
