The Cutest Chador on the Block

The cutest chador on the block! Iran is in my duas for a government of tawhid (which they haven't had since long before the revolution), and no threat of force upon their civilian populace to embrace Islam. Islam is easy, and beautiful. Force is not needed for those who Allah subhanhu wa ta'ala guides to seek the truth.

Assalamu alaikum sister, Ameen to your dua, I have question regarding abaya, i have recieved abayas that are double layer chiffon type material that have split in the front so you see the underlay, kinda like your trend post but mine are a solid colour even though they are double layer they are see through what can i do with these i'm not a wear an abaya at home type girl, I'd still have to wear something under it, what are the point of these?
Jazakallahu khayran
ps jazakallahu khayran Alia for your input on my last question :)

I love her chador it's so care free and feminine, yet still modest! I actually don't like the all encompassing black chador, just too much black for my taste.

So true. Force is never the answer, in fact that's when all hell break loose.
I agree pixie, what is happening in Iran is a shame and a sham. and, yes, she is looks adorable, almost innocently child like.
Salaam,
MoaD.

Salaam alaikum,
Insha'Allah, things will improve in Iran. I pray that our brothers and sisters there will be able to change their situations and improve their country in order to become and ACTUAL Islamic country.

As for the chador... I LOVE coloured chadors. :) I think that they're so pretty and the ones I see are always so modest! Love it.

Cheers.
That is a lovely chador. Islam is forced on people in Iran? That is such a shame!
What is she reading? That looks too small to be a koran...

asalaamu alaikum

I hate to disagree w/ you but...Iran has been a predom. Muslim country for like over 1,000 years, and they are been predom. shia'a for the past 400. Most Muslims do consider shia'a to be Muslim. There are some shia'a for consider themselves the only true Muslims like there r some sunnis who consider themselves the only true Muslims.

But, the Iranian govt. is still a Muslim govt.

fyi, they also havent had a "muslim" govt. in a very long time, for the past couple hundred years it's just been monarchies.

MuslimahonaDiet: Yeah, the elections were soooooo bogus, and that poor woman the police shot!

Ayan: yeah, it sucks that they decided to force hijabs on the non-muslims and even the non-practicing Muslims in the country. Then what good does it do a woman if she doesn't understand it or do it for Allah?

I like the black chadors sometimes. They look good if worn a certain way... But most of the time they aren't me.

Coffee Catholic: Not on all, but on the minorities, yes. I have a hairdresser here who was beaten in the street for refusing to wear hijab. She still dresses very modestly, but she wasn't Muslim, so she didn't want to wear a headscarf.

Coffee Catholic: there are some very small Qu'rans but it might but any kind of Islamic book, such as a small book of duas (prayers).

Umm Ibrahim: wa alaykom e salaam ramatullah wa barakto sister, but I disagree with Iran being an Islamic country whatsoever. It is set out the structure of shariah law but without tauhid it misses the VERY basics of Islam.

I consider some shi'a to be Muslims but not all would I pray next to.... I let Allah judge but I keep myself far away from associating partners. Like a certain Masjid (built and maintained by the Iranian government) with a certain tomb in it. "But, the Iranian govt. is still a Muslim govt." I would argue about that for sure. It might have the framework and shariah but if it doesn't enforce la illaha il allah first and foremost those in the government are doing the most important things as Muslim leaders.

There is no Muslim government in the world today. Iran doesn't practice tauhid. So they aren't an "Islamic" government. And Saui Arabia is a monarchy, and so the basic principles of shariah fail there as a class system based on tribes and blood exist OVER the religion in cases.

Me thinks I need to post a how to sew a house chador pattern on my blog...huh

hehehehehe...also to sis Ayan, chadors were traditionally light colored and printed, only after the rev. did black become the norm because of the "imposed war" and the constant state of mourning most women were in.
