Burnt Orange Niqab and Khimar

I would wear this (as a full-time munaqaba) [in case you didn't know, munaqaba is the correct term for a "niqabi" while niqabi is more the slang] to an formal fancy non-muslim event (where everyone is going to be in evening gowns). Such as some of my non-Muslim family's social events (weddings, work functions, charity stuffs).

Mashaa'Allah that jalabiya is really cute!! Hey BTW when u come here, u will notice I have moved away from so much pink -- I am into more of the browns, yellows and oranges right now.

Your orange set sounds lovely; Orange would be a wonderful Niqab colour; if one chooses to wear coloured niqab, does the gauze layer overly tint one's view if the eyeveil is drawn down?

Though Orange is lovely, there's not enough yellow in the world :-) Could you perhaps consider writing a review of yellow ensembles that utilize yellow for the Niqab also? A 'spectrum' article would be lovely as well - a different colour for each day of the week, commencing with a permissible shade of red, through to violet.

pastels for summer would be nice also.

Modesty is indeed infinitely more feminine and beautiful than immodesty...and in a nation with the highest melanoma rate in the world...come on ladies...its commonsense too!! :-)

Sarah.

zanjabil: jazzakallah kheir. Me too. It was always a very common dye in the Mecca region. So I love the history of it:p

Megan: Jazzakalah kheiran. Yummy peaches. No one mention food-like colours right now, lol.

Alabaster Muslim: It is from an Indian caftan site (but too exspensive for my own liking, I'll add the link though, inshaAllah in one of the next comments.

I don't know the correct way to address you all, I am an older lady who is going to work in the UAE. So here goes, As salaam alaykom ramatullah wa barakto.

I love the beautiful colours and fabrics used. I was in Dubai just recently and was in awe of the beauty of it all. How lovely to have a posting site where ladies only can be. So lovely. Thank you.
As-Salāmu `alaykunna ( hope that is correct and I haven't offended anyone, not my intention or desire)
