Slm, I want to ask you a question based on one of your older posts about pants as jilbab. You, and a number of other bloggers have inspired me to actually wear an abaya over my regular(modest) clothes. The thing is, I work in the construction industry and it would be kinda awkward wearing a long jilbab (my clothes tear quite often on site,along with a number of other safety hazards). I have one that sits a few cm above my ankles (my jeans still stick out a bit), so I want to know if thats ok. I don't want to make excuses for not wearing jilbab,but I dont want to be a safety hazard either.
